Our goal is that each member actively participates in at least one CSP. Increased participation will help attract new members and retain our current membership. Conservation Updates Lois and her committee, along with several partners including the Cary Garden Club, have been hard at work all summer in the PW Pollinator Garden. It has paid off with more than 35 caterpillars munching away, with more hatching every day! Check out the garden on your way to or from our meeting. GFWC-NC Legislative Alert The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) states that the rights guaranteed by the Constitution apply equally to all persons regardless of sex. Before the ERA can be passed, it must be ratified by three-quarters of the states. North Carolina has the unique opportunity to make history by being the 38th state to ratify the ERA, attaining the three-quarters mark. Please urge your legislators to help pass this resolution.
